Our Story

About El Burrito

El Burrito started as a single family-run kitchen in Grand Rapids, built on recipes passed down and a simple idea: big flavor, generous portions, and a room that feels like home.

Over the years that one kitchen grew into a small family of restaurants across the Grand Rapids area, each shaped by its own neighborhood. The Beltline location still serves the same hearty, traditional plates that started it all. Our Alpine Avenue location brings that same spirit to Comstock Park.

Our newest location in Eastown is a bit of a departure, a modern grill and bar built for a neighborhood that comes alive at night, with a menu that stretches from wood-fired steaks to street tacos. Same family, same roots, a new kind of night out.
